These guidelines apply to constituency chat, civic reports, comments, votes, links, media, and any other user-generated content on Constituency Connect and related 1Management services (website and mobile apps). They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Using the Services means you agree to follow these rules.
Messages in constituency chat are checked by automated systems (AI) for spam and abuse, with human review when needed. You can report a post in-app or email helpdesk@revtrance.com.
1. Purpose
Spaces on Constituency Connect are intended for local civic discussion and constructive problem-solving. Personal attacks, propaganda campaigns, random noise, and content unrelated to local public issues are not welcome and may be removed.
2. Immediate ban policy
Posting illegal content, or content that clearly violates these guidelines (including spam, abuse, threats, or incitement of violence), may result in an immediate and permanent ban without prior warning. We may also remove the content, restrict features, delete the account, and where appropriate refer the matter to law enforcement. Privacy Policy rules about how we handle data do not protect or excuse banned conduct—violations of these community rules are enforced separately from privacy rights.
3. Conduct
- Use an accurate display name where required.
- Treat others with respect; disagree without abuse or insults.
- Do not share another person’s private contact details, address, documents, photos, or identity information without lawful authority (doxxing).
- Keep media relevant and appropriate to the civic context.
- Do not flood chats with repetitive, random, irrelevant, or copy-pasted messages.
- Rules apply in every language and script (including Hindi, English, regional languages, slang, coded language, and emoji-only abuse).
4. Prohibited content and behaviour
You must not post, share, promote, or coordinate any of the following:
4.1 Illegal content
- Any content that is illegal under Indian law, including content that aids or instructs criminal activity;
- Child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors (immediate ban; may be reported to authorities);
- Content involving trafficking, exploitation, or other serious crimes;
- Sharing or soliciting stolen data, hacking tools for harm, or credentials you are not authorised to use.
4.2 Violence, threats, and harm
- Threats of violence against any person or group;
- Incitement to violence, riots, or harm (including coded or indirect calls to violence);
- Glorification of terrorism, organised crime, or violent acts;
- Encouraging self-harm or suicide, or graphic content shared to shock or harass.
4.3 Abuse, hate, and harassment
- Abuse, bullying, intimidation, or targeted harassment of any user, official, or private individual;
- Hate speech or discriminatory abuse based on caste, religion, ethnicity, language, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar attributes;
- Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual advances, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
- Slurs, demeaning stereotypes, or “jokes” that amount to abuse in any language.
4.4 Spam and disruption
- Spamming: flooding the chat with random, repeated, or meaningless messages;
- Unsolicited advertising, affiliate links, multilevel marketing, or commercial solicitation without permission;
- Mass tagging, link dumping, bot-like posting, or coordinated brigading;
- Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or amplify spam;
- Impersonating another person, organisation, official, or Constituency Connect / 1Management staff.
4.5 Fraud, scams, and deception
- Scams, phishing, fake giveaways, or investment / job fraud;
- Malware, harmful links, or deceptive schemes;
- Knowingly false emergency claims, fake civic reports, or fabricated evidence intended to mislead the public or authorities;
- Misinformation shared with clear intent to cause panic, harm, or electoral / civic interference where prohibited by law.
4.6 Privacy and rights
- Publishing private conversations, documents, or images of others without a lawful basis;
- Infringing copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property;
- Capturing and posting private spaces or individuals without appropriate consent or legal basis.
4.7 Sexual and inappropriate content
- Sexually explicit content, pornography, or graphic sexual material unsuitable for a civic community space;
- Any sexual content involving minors—zero tolerance, immediate ban.
4.8 Platform misuse
- Attempting to bypass moderation, filters, rate limits, or bans;
- Scraping, overloading, or attacking the Service;
- Using the chat to organise offline harassment or illegal activity.
5. Constituency rule requests
Members may propose local constituency rules for community discussion and adoption. To keep proposals thoughtful and reduce spam, rule requests follow these waiting periods (defaults; the platform may adjust them):
- New members: you can submit your first constituency rule request only after 15 days on the platform.
- Cooling period: after each rule request, there is a 15-day cooling period before you may submit another (your previous request must also be adopted or withdrawn first).
- One open rule request at a time — finish or withdraw the current proposal before starting a new one.
Adopted policies become part of the constituency rule book. Proposals and inputs must still follow all other conduct and content rules on this page.
6. Public civic records
Civic reports and related media may be visible to others and may appear on public maps or pages. Submit only material you are entitled to share. Do not capture private spaces or individuals without a lawful basis.
7. Reporting
Use in-app report options where available, or email helpdesk@revtrance.com with enough detail for us to locate the material (for example constituency, time, message text or screenshot, and the reason). We may remove content, restrict access, terminate accounts, and, where appropriate, refer matters to law enforcement.
8. Enforcement
Depending on severity, enforcement may include warnings, content removal, mute / feature limits, temporary suspension, or permanent account deletion. Serious or clear violations—especially illegal content, spam campaigns, violence/incitement, hate or abuse, sexual content involving minors, scams, and doxxing—may result in immediate permanent ban without prior notice. Ban evasion may lead to further account and device-level restrictions where reasonably available.
We decide enforcement in our reasonable discretion. These guidelines do not create a duty to monitor every message in real time, but we act on reports and detected abuse.
