This page summarises categories of data that may be collected by the Constituency Connect iOS and Android applications. It is not a substitute for the Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal data.
Categories
- Personal identifiers — name and phone number, used for account and display purposes.
- Location — precise location only when you raise a civic issue and grant When In Use access. Not collected in the background for advertising.
- Photos and camera — only when you attach evidence to a civic issue.
- Messages and activity — constituency discussion and related interactions.
- Device and app information — notification tokens, version, and crash diagnostics needed to operate and secure the app.
- Advertising data — Google AdMob may use an advertising identifier. On iOS this happens only if you allow tracking in App Tracking Transparency; otherwise ads are non-personalized.
- Purchases — subscription status and store transaction identifiers from Apple or Google. Payment card numbers are not collected by us.
Permissions
Camera, photo library, location (When In Use), notifications, and (on iOS) tracking are requested only for the corresponding features. Microphone, contacts, and Always location are not used. You may refuse or later revoke permissions in device settings; some features may then be unavailable.
Not collected by the mobile app
We do not collect health data, contacts, microphone audio, or continuous background location.
